Dark & Dreary Tag Card

I just can't get enough of this Dark & Dreary set...which is so unlike me...I'm usually a "cute" Halloween person, not a spooky/creepy Halloween person. But I just love the dirty, grungy feel of this vintage Halloween set.

This card was inspired by fellow blogger Patty Lynn...check out my muse HERE.

I didn't have the raven single stamp that she used, so I chose the square Happy Halloween stamp from the Dark & Dreary set. I substituted 5/8" grosgrain basic black ribbon for the lace trim, and a build-a-brad for the regular brad. She used our new yellow, Daffodil Delight and I used So Saffron instead.

I loved making the ruffle with our new waffle paper. It's easy to work with & adds fun dimension to your project. And I loved the chance to play with my Big Shote: both the spider web embossing folder and the two tags die were used on this project.
