You Say Goodbye...I Say Hello...
The end of the catalog year is fast approaching, and with it comes the retirement of the 2014-2016 In Colors and the introduction of the 2016-2018 In Colors (did I really just type 2018? Where does the time go?).
Anyway, what's an In Color? Well, Stampin' Up! has their regular color collection that is available every year. It consists of four color families that each have 10 colors. These 40 colors are sort of the staple of the Stampin' Up! family - they are your primary colors, your standard holiday colors. Then each year, above and beyond these colors, SU! releases a new family of In Colors, which are 5 colors that are designed to coordinate well with the regular collection but also freshen it up a bit with on trend colors to help keep our offerings fresh and current. Each In Color family lasts for two years, so one retires every year as a new one is released.
The ones retiring this year are what I used in the card above. They go by the names of Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, and Tangelo Twist.
Now you might be wondering why I'm making such a big deal out of them. Well, in a few weeks, we will be able to release our retirement list to the public. It tells you all the stamps, tools, punches, dies, paper and embellishments that are retiring. That is usually when people start placing large orders and is typically when they remember to re-stock their stash of retiring In Colors items - cardstock, ink pads and refills, embellishments and ribbon. But when it's gone, it's gone! So if you have fallen in love with these colors like I have, NOW would be the time to place your replenishment order, before they are all gone.
To shop these colors, just follow THIS LINK and then click SHOP! Then you can search for "In Color".
A little other info on this card - I made it using the all cardstock, dimensionals for depth, the heart from Itty Bitty Accents, and the 3/4" Circle Punch.
And, as always...happy stamping!
